What type of drapery do you clean?
We clean EVERY type of drapery. No matter what type of drapery you have, we can safely clean it in your home OR in our shop!
Do you press drapery?
NO. Pressing drapery has a high chance of damaging your drapery. Dry Cleaners ruin drapery ALL the time because they must press your drapery to get the wrinkles out. Since the dry cleaners throw your drapery inside of their machine to clean. Since our cleaning method is done by hand & a handheld drapery cleaning machine, we never wrinkle your drapery, therefore we do NOT need to press your drapery afterward. However, IF your drapery is already wrinkled BEFORE we touch it, once we are finished cleaning your drapery, we can steam out the wrinkles, which is A LOT safer than pressing drapery. We NEVER recommend pressing your drapery, since that is the highest risk chance to ruining drapery. Pressing drapery is the highest risk of damage, due to the hot heat used in pressing.
How do you clean drapery? (In-Home Drapery Cleaning)
We start off by setting up our small drapery cleaning machine on top of the plastic, to protect your floors. Then we put plastic up on your walls, to protect the walls & windows from getting wet. We use Blue Painter's Tape to hold the plastic up on the walls, this way we do NOT damage your walls, with the wrong tape. Once the pre-inspection & set-up is finished, we pre-vacuum the back of the drapery & then the front of the drapery. The next step is to pre-spray the back of the drapery & then the front of the drapery, with an eco-green dry cleaning solution. Once the pre-spray sits in for about 10-15 minutes, we then start cleaning the back of the drapery & then the front of the drapery. Our cleaning method is called "Injection-extraction drapery cleaning" which means that we inject dry cleaning solution into the drapery & within a few seconds we extract the dry cleaning solution right back out. We repeat this step if needed. Because the solution is only on your drapery for a few seconds at a time, we guarantee NO damage & NO shrinkage!
How do you clean drapery?

YES! We can clean EVERY type of drapery in your home.
What is the difference between In-Home Cleaning VS. cleaning drapery (off-site) in your shop?
There is NO difference in the cleaning quality, from cleaning drapery "In-Home" VS. "In Our Shop" NO matter where we clean your drapery, we will make sure we FULLY & safely clean your drapery. However, the benefit in having your drapery cleaned "In-Home" is that there is NO downtime for your drapery! Plus by cleaning your drapery "In-Home" there is NO chance of damage guaranteed, due to transporting the drapery back & forth. Also by cleaning your drapery where it hangs inside your house, your drapery will ALWAYS be hung the same way, as they were before since we NEVER had to remove the drapery in the first place. By leaving the drapery hung the whole time in your home, the drapery will never have a chance of getting wrinkled. HOWEVER, the benefit to having us remove your drapery from your home & cleaning the drapery in our shop, is that you can have the drapery out of your house IF you are having remodeling OR work done inside your home. Once your remodeling project is finished, we will be finished cleaning your drapery too & we can come back to your home & re-hang your drapery!
How long does it take for you to clean my drapery in my home?
It really depends on how much drapery you have & how dirty the drapery is. However, most jobs we do, take between 2-4 hours. Please keep in mind that it ALL depends on the size of the job. We recommend that you plan your day knowing that you might have the drapery cleaner in your home the whole day. This way the drapery cleaner has plenty of time to focus on your drapery, without having to rush.
How long does it take for you to clean my drapery, if you take the drapery down & bring it to your shop?
It really depends on how much drapery you have & how dirty the drapery is. However, most jobs we do, take between 5-7 business days. Please keep in mind that it ALL depends on the size of the job. We recommend that you plan on knowing that it might take our drapery cleaners a few business days. This way the drapery cleaners have plenty of time to focus on your drapery, without having to rush. *Subject to change, call ahead to verify first.
Do you offer spot/stain treating?
Yes! We are Certified Dry Cleaners that ONLY specialize in cleaning blinds and drapery. We can remove MOST stains. (i.e. water damage, coffee, blood, urine, wine, ink, food stains, bug stains, AND other stains) However, it all depends on what type of stain and how long it has been on the drapery. We make no promises that the stains will FULLY come out, however, we guarantee that we will offer you your best chances of getting the stains out!
Can you get urine stains & urine smell out of the drapery?
Yes! We have NO problem removing the urine stains & urine smell out of the drapery most of the time! However, it all depends on how long the urine stain has been on the drapery. We make no promises that the stains will FULLY come out, however, we guarantee that we will offer you your best chances of getting the urine stains & urine smell out!
Do you offer any guarantees?
Yes! We guarantee NO Damage and NO Shrinkage on your drapery.
Does your cleaning shrink OR damage the drapery?
NO! We guarantee NO Damage and NO Shrinkage on your drapery. Because we use a handheld machine, we ONLY clean 4 inches of drapery at a time, therefore NOTHING will shrink. As soon as we are finished cleaning each 4-inch section, we dry that section prior to moving to the next 4-inch section. By using a handheld machine, it is the safest way & most gentle way to ever clean drapery.
Does your cleaning remove the fabric protector on my drapery? (Scotch Guard?)
NO! We guarantee not to remove ANY fabric protector and/or Scotch Guard! In fact, we are one of the ONLY few companies in Illinois that can guarantee NOT to remove any Flame Retardant, Scotch Guard & Fabric Protector on your drapery!
Is your drapery cleaning safe for my kids & pets?
YES! We ONLY use Certified Eco-Green Dry Cleaning Solution...NO Chemicals EVER. Our cleaning method is VERY safe for EVERYONE! We have our Eco-Green Certificate on our website, under the "Drapery Cleaning" page.

Will there be a smell, while you are cleaning drapery in my home?
There will be a little bit of a smell. It is a clean smell because we are using cleaning solutions. The smell is like what you would smell inside of a Dry Cleaner. However, our dry cleaning solution is much safer than a dry cleaner's solution, since we use Eco-Green Dry Cleaning Solution.
Do you steam clean drapery?
NO. There really is no such thing as "steam cleaning drapery." The way it works is that we will FULLY clean your drapery with dry cleaning solution & then IF needed, we will steam out the wrinkles that were on the drapery prior to us arriving at your home. IF your drapery is NOT wrinkled, then you do NOT need your drapery to be steamed, because our cleaning method does NOT wrinkle your drapery!
Do you install drapery?
NO. We do NOT install drapery hardware, however, we can FULLY remove your drapery, for cleaning & then come back & FULLY re-hang your drapery. However, we do NOT install drapery hardware (i.e. brackets or NEW drapery) ALL of the brackets MUST stay up on the wall the entire time, OR you will need to hire a 3rd party installer, which could get expensive.
Can you remove pet hair from the drapery?
YES! We do our best to fully remove ALL pet hair & lint. We use lint rollers & a special vacuum designed for drapery to help remove ALL pet hair.
